DSM not running or won't start

* Be sure that the time is correct on your machine.
*Be sure that the hostname and IP have not changed.

If the above are fine run the below four commands as root.

rm /var/db/dsm/lisc
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dsm restart
tail -f /var/log/messages&
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dsm restart

If dsm still does not start copy and paste what is on your screen in a support request ticket or place it here in the forum.

Error mesages
-Clock Skew = wrong time on machine
-hostname me.you.com =! oiu.you.com = hostname is incorrect
-Incorrect license file version = Corrupt license file. To resolve run steps above
