Service Manager Port Change

The only repsonse close to my quest dealt with SMTP port.

Many people change thier SSH port for security. Since changing the port the service manager shows SSH is down. Is there away to define the SSH port for the service manager? Or remove SSH from the service manager?

changing your port does nothing, a port scan will pick it up.

Better to firewall it off and only allow from a certain ips.

Im not sure about setting the manager to pick it up on a different port, it might be hard coded. Ill see what i can dig up 2night.

I do see your point on a port scanner, but with my other servers (this is the first one I am trying out with ServerCP) my BFD software rarely has intrusion attempts after changing the port number versus leaving it standard. I cannot think of one time in the last 18 months with 3 different servers I had an attempt.
