Wildcard supported?

Hello, I am installing a free subdomain hosting on my server and i am using servercp.

When i add this line "ServerAlias *.mydomain.tld www.mydomain.tld mydomain.tld " in mydomain.tld.db file in /var/named, It creates a malfunction and the domain itself stops resolving, and it shows a broken DNS error for the domain in the dnsstuff, When i remove that line my domain starts resolving again.

The line i mentioned is for wildcard functionality, please let me know if its not supported by servercp? or what, or it does need a dedicated IP or what?

Create a sub domain and modify it ;)

Post all the syntax here to see what your doing, wild cards work fine.
