View Full Version : "LOGOUT" - Authentication Required?

We have a client reporting:

I am asked for a login and password. Twice it has actually accepted my login/password, and gave me a real logout screen, but usually I have to press Cancel, and then I get a "unauthorized connection" or something like that.

I have reproduced this issue.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a known solution?

I have this problem too, if I'm understanding you correctly. When I hit the Logout link, authentication is requested. It is logging me out though. And that request doesn't accept my credentials.

That definitely sounds like the same problem.

In one browser, I repeatedly get the username/password window, no matter how many times I try to cancel.

instead of putting anything in the boxes just click the ok button.

Is there any way to stop the login pop-up at logout, altogether? Or does it server some purpose?
