Unable to connect to data base

I just had my Server restored with RedHat 8.0.
Worked real good before I had it restored.
Now I just installed DSM and I get
Unable to connect to data base
I started dsm twicec like said in other threads and everything else and it wont let me reinstall.
What do I do now?

Edit to post above:
I get the when I try to log in through http://ip#:3000

resolved via support request.
It appeared that David's mysql user did not get set during installation. If mysql does not have a root password set dsm will not run.
