Hey,
I'm running a free webhost with about 2,000 new regs per day.
Ofcourse out of every 100 member accounts, only 5 are truly active.
So my question is:
> Can Zervex overcome the 32,576 limit on linux?
> How many accounts can it confortable handle before having to server cluster?
Thanks.
A
ServerCP cannot overcome any system limitations that the particular installed distro cannot. ServerCP is only an interface to the installed distributions software/environment. The how many accounts question is a very tough one to answer. This really depends on how your cluster is setup and the configuration of each node. You may want to get a hardware engineer involved in the sizing process.

Yea however doesn't Zervex use the a/b/c method or something in order to be able to store more then 32K subdirectories in one directory?
Because that's one way how you overcome the Linux filesystem limitation.

ServerCP sits on top of the system and manages the services installed. So, in terms of file storage it would depend on how each individual service performs storage. Remember ServerCP only manages apache mysql bind etc.
