Changing SSL

I was wondering 2 things...

1.
How would I change the SSL cert used by the DSM?
Get rid of the default "snakeoil" cert.lol

Make a backup copy of the /var/db/dsm/dsm.pem file and then insert your key and cert. That will then get rid of the message/ssl popup that you receive.

I believe it should be noted that if you use a pass phrase when creating the key the server would fail to boot dsm-ssl which will cause the entire server to hang because there would be no way to enter the pass phrase.

I changed the dsm.pem and snakeoil still shows up. It's only showing for port 3500. Even when I remove /var/db/dsm/dsm.pem I still get a snakeoil cert.

My certs work fine everywhere but with DSM.

You have to then restart.

service dsm restart
