Name server setup help

Hi,

I have a dedicated server provided to me by www.jtlnet.com. The server comes with DSM Version: 3.0-34.

I am trying to setup the server to run its own Name Server but am finding that when i do a lookup on my domain name the server does not respond.

I have created two name server hosts records for my domain name:

ns1.punkhosting.net 69.36.2.103
ns2.punkhosting.net 69.36.2.104

I have also set the names servers for punkhosting.net to the name servers above. I have added the domain punkhosting.net to one of the accounts in DSM but whenever i do a lookup for any of the domains records the server fails to respond see link below:

Hi Chris,
After looking further into your issue I made some changes to the way we handle name server restarts in the add domain process. I made some changes that just got pushed out with release 38. In the short term restarting your name server (from the control panel as root) will fix this domain for you, however if you get a chance, please update your dsm (using the Updater at the bottom, on the left hand menu when logged in as root) and be sure to let me know if the issue persists.
