can you install mailman email lists at the user level? Anyone know how to change the default email address? Anyone know of a better script?

Yes, users can install mailman from within their interface.

You can try Mojo Mail which is located within your software manager interface.

DSM version 3 offers some alternatives. Email support@zervex.com for a beta copy of DSM version 3.

I did email in but haven't gotten anything back. When will it rollout?

We had quite a few people request betas. Acctually a lot more than were expected.

Just curious, is there anyone out there anywhere with a function mailman list under DSM?

My host tried for a year to get lists to work under DSM2, and they didn't. Now I've moved to a DSM3 machine, and they still don't. So the question is: has anyone, anywhere, actually got them to work?

Thanks, Netty. Now at least I know it's possible; I was beginning to wonder.

I'm aware of the issue arlen is having, but what type of issue are you having? Is it an actual problem with creation?

If you could, please open a support ticket and we'll take a look at it as soon as we can.

resolved via support request #6357.

Thank you. I can now create the lists. Question though, how can I edit the default list email? I wanted it to be list@domain.com but instead it's user_list@domain.com

aliases for both are added, i.e. if you mail list@domain.com it will work.
