Security patches such as CERT® Advisory CA-2003-12 Buffer Overflow in Sendmail

I'm not using dsm yet, but I would like to know how dsm provides support for security updates and patches.

For example the recent CERT® Advisory CA-2003-12 Buffer Overflow in Sendmail.

Does dsm provide automated updates to avoid problems like that?

Or do you have to figure out what needs to be patched and do it via ssh?

Thanks for any comments or reassurances about these kinds of issues.

You can update to the latest redhat errata release via the updates manager or you can run up2date or similar application.
