I have another client that may be interested in running DSM. However, they are running multiple web servers in a web farm. DSM seems very specific to a single machine. Can DSM be used to manage web hosting across several machine? Or would we need to install once instance of DSM on each web server and then manage unique accounts on each of those servers? In other words, would we have to tie each domain to a specific web server and manage it from that web server's DSM?
I actually emailed this question to sales@zervex.com three times! But they won't answer. Not sure what the deal is.
Anyone have an answer?
Each machine must have an independent installation of dsm and must be managed seperately at this point.
BTW, I did not see any emails from you within the sales queue I check the email address that you use within the forums.

The email addy is dustin at puryear-it.com. I use dpuryear at usa.net as a spam catcher. (You just never know these days.)
Thanks for the information. That is what I thought, but I hoped that maybe you guys had a multiple server managment tool in the works. That's not a bad idea for you to consider. A lot of us are running multiple web servers in a load-balancing fashion and a simpler tool to manage everything would be nice. (Not for this particular client BTW.) DSM would definitely fit the bill. We like it.
Re: the actual emails about this, read all through ticket #503. I asked a few times with no response. Just a quick FYI.
We acctually do but I'm not supposed to tell you that yet though. :-)
